Jesus made it very clear to his disciples concerning the world's view of him. St.John 15:18-19: If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Just as the world is hostile against Christ it will be hostile against you as a believer. We must remember Satan's words to Jesus in St Matthew 4:5, 8-9 Then devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou will fall down and worship me. This is evidence that Satan is in charge of the Kingdoms of this world. The Bible refers to him as the God of this world (II Cor. 4:4). The word world in the (Greek) is Kosmos - primarily order, arrangement, ornament, and adornment. The system of the world is under the control of Satan. Satan is at work in his cunning and craftiness to try to discredit anything that has to do with GOD. He is over the educational system, he controls the music of the world and he is in control of the systems of government. There is attack against Christ and his church by the system of the world. Satan is using the platform of the Lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender community better known as the LGBT to try to destroy the institution of marriage as God intended it to be. The government is whole heartedly supporting this agenda and is creating a environment that is hostile against our religious freedom. The church can't just stand by and twittle it's thumbs it must be counter active in it's message to the world to hold fast to the teaching of the Word of God against immorality. The church must not allow the world to back it into a corner and be afraid to speak out in fear of offending the world. There is so much pressure being put on the church to accept the world's agenda and some of our leaders are afraid to stand flat footed and preach the Gospel of Christ with boldness. Believer's have become so desensitized by television, christian playwriters, christian music artist and christian leaders until they think it's okay in the church to mix the holy with the profane. That's like trying to mix oil with water. It just don't work. Believers are mislead by church leaders that are embracing and courting the world hiding behind the cover up that we are winning them Christ. When in fact they are trying to rub shoulders and become famous at the expense of making the word of God of none effect. This give the impression to other believers that this is okay. There is a great difference in winning the lost for Christ than compromising the teachings of the word of God. It's not just the world attacking the church it is some of our leaders allowing the world to infiltrate into the church by promoting the secular artist, the secular comedian, and the secular agenda. The apostle John made it very clear in his letter to the church: I John 2:15-16: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. We are not to be friends with the world, the Kosmos. We are in this world but not of this world. God is calling forth his apostles, prophets, and pastor's to began to cry out against false teaching, false prophets, and false pastor's. He is purifying his church and restoring his glory back to his house. St. Mt. 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Christ apostles died defending the truth. What are we willing to do to protect the integrity of gospel of Christ? Let us stand up and speak out against all unrighteousness. Let the Church stand against the influence of the world.
