Elder Ken Rose Sr is the founder of Kingdom Empowerment Ministry, used by God to empower and encourage the body of Christ to be ready and prepared for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through the teaching and preaching of the Gospel. His vision is to help foster an apostolic and prophetic church to bring believers into a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ. This will produce a Kingdom Empowered Church with an awareness of Kingdom Dominion on earth. He has served in various capacities in the Body of Christ as pastor, assistant pastor, elder, evangelist, teacher, exhorter, and Intercessory prayer leader. 

He is married to Amy Rose, his wife of 27 years and has been blessed with 8 children. 

He received the Holy Spirit at 16 and has been preaching the Gospel for 43 years. He received his formal training at Queen City Church of God in Christ under the leadership of his father, Superintendent T.L. Rose. At the age of 18 joined the United States Navy which took him to Bremerton, Washington where he attended Emmanuel Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Lawrence Robertson who also played a vital part in his spiritual maturity. He went on to further his academic and Biblical studies, by graduating from Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington, with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree. He also graduated from Faith International University of Tacoma, Washington, with a Master of Divinity degree, which prepared him for the third phase of his education by receiving a Doctor of Ministry degree from Sacramento Theological Seminary and a honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from the same institution of learning. 

Elder Ken Rose Sr. also served in three military branches with an exemplary record and advancement achievements. Doing his years of secular employment, he worked as a social worker and counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He also worked in a variety of other fields. He comes from a background of humble beginnings as the son of a second-generational minister of the Gospel. His education and work experience gives him greater insight into both the soulish and spiritual nature of man. His sermons and teachings of the early church provide a sound biblical approach to the ministry of the word. His ability to minister the word under the power of the Holy Spirit gives revelatory insight. His qualities and character are consistent with being an effective preacher of the Holy Scriptures.
